Draw Near

Revelation 3:20

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and
opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

God loves all His Creation, but especially wants to be close to us, to you. Those who come to Him through a covenant relationship, remembering His sacrifice for them, are forgiven and are ‘born again’ from on high, receiving His Holy Spirit. They then have full access to their heavenly Father, and all He has for them.

In the midst of life’s events, good and bad, God is in control, and will care for those who depend on Him. Meeting His children’s daily needs are a joy to Him!

Jehovah Jireh is a biblical name meaning “The Lord will provide”. This means expansive provision. No need is too small, and He can provide all that is required. This extends far beyond physical needs like food and clothes though. God wants to meet emotional, spiritual and relational needs as well; everything that is actually good for us.

Those who are ignorant of His love and provision may work hard and stress to get what they want or need. But for those who steadfastly seek after God, even willing to endure any life hardships and still trust Him, His abundant love will meet them at every point.

The greatest joy and fulfilment for a sincere child of God is their friendship with God, their Saviour and Lord. Our Father’s plans for our life are only for good. I have realised this more and more as I have drawn near to Him through many years. Perfect love. Do you want to experience this? Commit your life to Jesus Christ and draw near!
